Jaya Bhardwaj was born in Delhi, India, on September 5, 1992. She attended Modern School in Vasant Vihar for her education before moving to Mumbai to pursue a degree in Mass Media and Communication.

She began working as an account associate with channel production Star Network in Haryana in 2015. She worked as an associate for almost two years at this firm.

Her elder brother Sidharth Bhardwaj is a well-known Indian VJ, model, and actor. Sidharth was a contestant on the fifth season of ‘Bigg Boss’ in 2011.

She also worked for other prestigious companies. She spent almost a year and a half as an executive at the BBC Network before joining Universal Music Group as a senior manager and then joining HOOQ as a businesswoman in Mumbai, India. “Quibbling with the Sibling,” a cover story about Jaya and her brother Sidharth, was published in HT Brunch magazine.

Deepak Chahar of the Chennai Super Kings caused a stir on social media after videos and photos of him proposing to a mystery woman after the match went viral. During the game against Punjab Kings, Deepak proposed to his girlfriend Jaya Bhardwaj in the stands.

Chahar got down on one knee and proposed to Jaya minutes after the CSK-Punjab Kings match in Dubai ended, and she said yes. Chahar’s girlfriend said ‘YES’ right away, and the couple hugged as everyone congratulated them. Chahar and Jaya got married in a grand ceremony in Agra on Wednesday (June 1).
