Tim Seifert of the Delhi Capitals (DC) used his wicket-keeping talents against the Mumbai Indians in Match 2 of the IPL 2022 season to send back the dangerous all-rounder Kieron Pollard. The wicket-keeper batsman was fielding in the mid-wicket region when he grabbed a stunner to the dangerous Caribbean back to the Pavillion.
MI started strong with skipper Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan manhandling the pacers in the powerplay overs. However, they lost momentum following the departure of Rohit Sharma and Anmolpreet Singh. Pollard had strolled in after the collapse of the debutante, Tilak Varma. He had to take on the burden of ensuring a solid finish in the death overs.

The incident occurred in the 16th over of the innings, when Seifert delivered an unbelievable performance on the field. Kieron Pollard rocked back and smashed the ball hard on a Kuldeep Yadav delivery.
He didn’t hit it high enough to get it out of the infield. Tim Seifert dove to his right and snatched the ball high, putting an end to Pollard’s time in the centre. The Kiwi cricketer’s performance at mid-wicket was outstanding.
Kuldeep Yadav, who was looking to resurrect his career with a new franchise, has had an outstanding start to the IPL, with the T20 World Cup set to take place later this year.

After Rohit Sharma got Mumbai Indians off to a flying start, he induced the first breakthrough for Delhi Capitals.
Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan put the price tag out of his mind and started the season with a fifty. He made sure that MI got off to a solid start in the powerplay alongside Rohit.
