Royal Challengers Bangalore locked horns with Lucknow Super Giants in the eliminator played in Eden Gardens Bangalore. The game turned out to be an exciting affair with both the teams staying in the contest till the last over. However, Faf Du Plessis led side emerged victorious in the last over after some fantastic death over bowling by Harshal Patel.
The game started in a dreadful manner for Royal Challengers Bangalore after they lost their skipper in the first over to some incredible bowling by Mohsin Khan. However, Rajat Patidar performed when it mattered the most and scored a scintillating century. He partnered with Dinesh Karthik in the slog overs to take RCB to a huge score of 207 runs. Lucknow failed to reach the target even after some sensible batting from KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda. The two things which became a point of discussion after the game were bad fielding and senseless batting order by Lucknow Super Giants.

The reaction from the former Indian captain on seeing the incident was priceless as well. Though this is not the first time, a fan has performed such an incident to meet Virat Kohli, the fact that it came on the largest stage makes it a special event.
