Wanindu Hasaranga, one of the world’s rising stars, will be a player to watch in the IPL 2022. For the past few years, the Sri Lankan all-rounder has been making headlines. Last year, he had a big impact in the T20 series against India. In the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, he was nothing short of outstanding.

Royal Challengers Bangalore selected Wanindu Hasaranga in the IPL 2022 mega auction. The franchisee agreed to pay Rs. 10.75 crores for the player. Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore have both expressed a strong desire to include Wanindu Hasaranga in their squads.
Prior to the auction, Hasaranga maintained a base price of Rs. 1 crore. In the previous edition, he was a replacement player for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
