Virat Kohli is one of the fittest players in the world. From drinking Rs. 4000 per litre water to eating a vegetarian diet, Kohli’s dedication to nutrition and fitness is incredible.
Many people have found inspiration in Virat Kohli. Team India’s fitness is now on par with any national side thanks in large part to Kohli, who made fitness a priority for the Indian national team.
Virat Kohli’s fitness journey

A lot of legendary players have played for the Indian national team. They were all incredibly talented players who could quickly change the course of a game. To pull victories out of the jaws of defeat, these players mostly relied on their raw talents. Fitness and fielding have always been an afterthought in Indian cricket. In terms of saving runs on the field, Indian players were always behind Australians and South Africans.
Things changed when Kohli entered the scene. Kohli always had a lot of potentials and showed a lot of promise early in his career. But he too hit rock bottom after being dropped from the New Zealand tour. Virat Kohli was compelled to take things into his own hands as a result of this.
He worked hard in the gym and on the field, honing his skills and getting in shape. Kohli began eating clean and healthy after spending hours in the gym. Kohli became a complete athlete after nearly a year and a half of working out and eating healthy. This inspired other players on the national team and they followed suit, putting more effort into enhancing their own athleticism. In his frequent gym selfies, Kohli can be seen engaging in cardio, deadlifts, and HIIT exercises.
Diet Plan of Virat Kohli

Food preferences and eating habits are highly selective. Some people eat meat and are very healthy, while others eat plant-based foods and have optimum health. Recently, more and more people around the world have started eating a completely plant-based diet, also known as a vegan diet.
Saw game changers on Netflix. Being a vegetarian athlete has made me realise what I have believed all these years regarding diet was a myth. What an amazing documentary and yes I’ve never felt better in my life after I turned vegetarian.

Virat Kohli’s body changed after he switched to a clean, lean vegetarian diet. He stopped eating all the junk food he had been eating. Within 8–10 months, Kohli lost 6-7 kg. Kohli began consuming foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D3, and B12. In order to maintain his protein intake and other vitamins, he also started taking supplements.
According to Kohli, his diet consists primarily of spinach, quinoa, a lot of vegetables, some eggs, and two cups of coffee. He also admitted that he enjoys dosas and consumes them all in moderation. He doesn’t smoke or drink as well. His resistance and endurance are always maintained in this way.
Most people have a misconception that Kohli is a vegan. But Kohli has denied this and has stated that he is a vegetarian. Last year, Kohli dispelled this ambiguity. In a tweet, the cricketer addressed fans by stating that he has “never claimed to be vegan.”
I never claimed to be vegan. Always maintained I'm vegetarian. Take a deep breath and eat your Veggies (if you want 😉)💪😂✌️
