Shreyanka Patil, the all-rounder for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, expressed a sense of nostalgia as she reminisced about meeting former Indian captain Virat Kohli, stating that she was overcome with emotion when she first met him.
Shreyanka Patil was awestruck when Virat Kohli took a picture with her, even though they didn’t have a personal conversation. She plans to frame the picture and display it in her home, with hopes of obtaining Kohli’s autograph on the frame.
Shreyanka Patil on meeting Virat Kohli

“He took the phone and clicked a picture with me. I still want to say that he touched me here (on her arm). I went to the school and I was like, ‘Virat Kohli touched me’. It was so nice to meet him, to take a picture with him,” Patil said.
“Though I didn’t get to meet him and talk to him in person, taking a picture with him itself is a big thing. I’m going to frame this picture, keep it in the house, protect it, and then when I meet him, I’m going to get his autograph done on that frame,” she added.
Patil on the moment she saw Kohli bat

According to the Indian all-rounder, she was amazed to watch Virat Kohli bat during the practice sessions of the RCB men’s team in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
“Whenever RCB used to practice in Chinnaswamy, I was like, ‘Okay fine, let me at least watch him bat, if not meet him’. So I love watching him, whatever off the field, on the field anything, I just love watching him. His body language, his intent, his vibe is amazing,” she added.
Shreyanka Patil has participated in two matches in the WPL to date, with only two wickets at an elevated economy rate of 10.66.
