The first T20I between India and South Africa had a few errors that had everyone on the edge of their seats. Even though the batsman was halfway down the pitch and yards short of the white line, South Africa missed an easy opportunity to get Rishabh Pant out. Commentators couldn’t believe how South Africa had blown that opportunity.
South Africa miss out on an opportunity to run out Rishabh Pant

In the first T20I against South Africa, India put a massive total on board as they scored 211 runs in 20 overs. After winning the toss, South Africa elected to bowl first in the game. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan, India’s openers, got them off to a good start, scoring 57 runs for the first wicket. When Rishabh Pant came in to bat, India was on 137/2. Pant was almost s run-out during his knock in a hilarious way.
The 14th over of the innings was being bowled by Kagiso Rabada. Shreyas Iyer faced the first ball of the over, with Pant at the other end. Pant attempted a single after Shreyas played it to short mid-wicket. Pant collided with Rabada after Shreyas sent him back. He was just outside the crease, and the fielder had a chance to run him out. Surprisingly, the fielder failed to capitalize on an easy run-out opportunity, and the Indian wicketkeeper-batter survived.

Because a Delhi boy getting that (captaincy) honor at Delhi is a huge thing for me. Thanks to everyone for giving me this opportunity.”
