Shikhar Dhawan captained Team India to a three-match One-Day International series victory over the West Indies. Shubman Gill, who was named player of the series, was outstanding throughout the tournament. Gill who recently come under fire for failing to convert his starts and fifties into significant team scores shone in the series against the West Indies.
Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) congratulated Shubman Gill on his first century in ODI cricket through Twitter. However, the team had to endure humiliation on the social media platform as a result of being far too quick.
RCB wrongly congratulates Shubman Gill for century on Twitter

Shikhar Dhawan‘s Indian squad won the trophy in an impressive fashion after defeating the hosts West Indies by 3-0 in the ODI series. It was a remarkable performance for the Indian team against the West Indies at the Port of Spain in Trinidad.
Shubman Gill won Player of the Series for his consistent performance over the course of the competition. While Gill received praise from many on social media, a post from the IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore in particular caught everyone’s eye.
In the third game, Gill played a pretty cool-headed innings from the very first ball he encountered. He started the game slowly but picked up speed as the game went on. Later, Gill and Shreyas Iyer went on the rampage, hitting multiple fours and sixes while going for the boundaries to punish the West Indies bowlers.

Rain stopped the game before the 22-year-old could finish his century, and after a long break, India was unable to resume batting. As a result, Gill was unable to complete his well-earned century and was left trapped on 98 runs.
However, the RCB tweeted to congratulate the Gujarat Titans (GT) opener on reaching his first ODI century. They then deleted the tweet, but it was too late and the franchise had to put up with netizen trolls as a result.
“Shubman Gill brings up his maiden international century, and the timing of the knock couldn’t have been more perfect. Take a bow, champ. #PlayBold #WIvIND #TeamIndia,” RCB tweeted.
