The Chennai Super Kings have had a torment of a start in the ongoing 2022 edition of the IPL under their new captain Ravindra Jadeja. The Yellow Army have remained winless after their starting four matches, and they are yet to claim their first win in the ongoing season.
The defending champions are currently facing one of the forgettable tournaments of their whole timeline & have been facing a lot of instability in the cricketing aspects. Ravindra Jadeja became the captain of the four-time champions team, as MS Dhoni decided to pass the captaincy baton to the Indian all-rounder. But, due to his inexperience, Jadeja didn’t kickstart a winning campaign for his team. And he hopes to earn the first win for the team.
Virender Sehwag’s piece of advice to Ravindra Jadeja
As the above suggests, Virender Sehwag, the former Indian opening veteran, has come up with his words of wisdom for the new skipper of the Chennai Super Kings.
He had stated, “My advice for Ravindra Jadeja would be that these things will continue, don’t pay heed to them. If you think about that, you won’t be able to concentrate on the field because whenever you make a decision, you’ll continuously think, ‘What will they say? What will the fans think? What will the teammates think?’ You won’t be able to make the right decision through all that. Put your phone on Airplane Mode. No one gives newspapers during this Covid phase anyway, you can keep your TV off. So just stay in your room and enjoy. The more you’ll read and watch these things, the worse your mind will get. Whenever you want to update your social media, put the phone out of the Airplane mode and do that then put it back.
I have seen it with Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, MS Dhoni, and Yuvraj Singh – whenever they go through a tough phase, they don’t look at their mobile phone, TV, or newspaper. I feel he should practice, play video games and have fun.”
The upcoming matches are the crucial and do-or-die ones for CSK
With increasing competition between the teams, the Yellow arsenal hopes to get the team back to their winning ways as they go up against the set and in-form Royal Challengers Bangalore. With a lot of loopholes in their cricketing department, the team hopes for making a powerful comeback to be a part of the title race.
