Lucknow Super Giants Instagram banter with RCB fan

In IPL 2022, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated KL Rahul’s Lucknow Super Giants by 18 runs to take second place in the points table. KL Rahul, the captain of Lucknow, revealed that his team handed away 15-20 extra runs, which cost them the game.
After winning the toss, LSG ordered RCB to bat first, and the latter scored 181/6 thanks to Faf du Plessis’s 96-run performance, which proved to be match-winning in the end. The LSG captain, KL Rahul, stated that his bowlers should have performed better in the opening half of the game.
Dushmantha Chameera took two early wickets for LSG, dismissing Anuj Rawat and Virat Kohli in the opening over. However, Faf du Plessis’s tenacious knock ensured that RCB posted a respectable score on a wicket that appeared to be favourable for batting.
Meanwhile, the Instagram account of Lucknow SuperGiants tried to troll RCB by calling them ‘beta’ and saying ‘Tumse Na ho payega’ in a post just before the match began.
Later, one RCB fan replied by saying ‘tera baap hai RCB’. LSG account continued the banter by stating that two wickets have already fallen for RCB and there is nothing much that they can do.
In the end, the trolling from LSG didn’t work as RCB won the match.

KL Rahul said in the post-match presentation, “I think we started really well after getting two wickets in the first over, to give away 50 in the Powerplay, we should have done better”.
“180 on that pitch was 15 or 20 runs extra that we gave away. The pitch was sticky. We got the early breakthroughs we were looking for but we couldn’t squeeze in the middle. We needed one big partnership… we saw what Faf did for RCB,” Rahul added.
