Rohit Sharma has explained that Virat Kohli did not face any significant health concerns during the fourth Test against Australia series. According to Sharma, Kohli was only experiencing a mild cough and had no other medical issues, as stated by the Indian team’s captain.
Kohli broke his three-year-long absence from scoring Test centuries with an impressive knock of 186 runs against Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium. As soon as he achieved this milestone, his wife Anushka Sharma shared a post on Instagram.
Rohit Sharma on Virat Kohli’s health

“Playing through sickness with this composure. Inspiring me always,” Anushka posed.
Axar Patel stated yesterday that he was unaware of any health problems that Virat Kohli may have been facing. Today, when asked the same question, Rohit Sharma provided his response.
“I don’t think he is sick; he was just coughing a little bit but I don’t think it’s that bad health-wise,” Rohit Sharma said.
During the press conference, Rohit Sharma discussed Virat Kohli and remarked that he had not been burdened with the lack of Test centuries in the past three years, suggesting that he had overcome that challenge.
“He is just thinking about the moment. He wants to put up a big performance for the team which he has done in the past so many years, and wants to do that every time he gets the opportunity to do it for India,” he said.

The upcoming three-game ODI series against Australia, commencing on March 17, will feature Virat and Rohit. However, Rohit will be absent for the first match, and Hardik Pandya will take charge as captain. Rohit will then take over the leadership role for the remaining two ODIs.
