The official broadcaster of the Tata IPL 2022, Disney Star, has revealed an 85-strong panel of pundits for the 2022 season. The tournament’s 15th edition will feature commentators in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Bengali, and Gujarati, as well as a new Gujarati feed. Ravi Shastri, the former India coach, will return to the Star Sports commentary panel, while Suresh Raina, Piyush Chawla, Dhawal Kulkarni, and Harbhajan Singh will make their debuts.
Mayanti Langer Binny will also return after a two-year hiatus.
Dhawal Kulkarni Selected as Commentator

This season, Disney Star will be shown in nine languages. With the addition of the Gujarat Titans this season, a new Gujarati feed has been added to the total offering for fans. In the Gujarati commentary team, Dhavnit Thaker, who is also a Gujarati actress and singer, will be joined by Nayan Mongia and Manpreet Juneja, among others.
Mr IPL, Suresh Raina, has previously gone unsold at the Bengaluru mega auction. As a result, he signed on as a Hindi commentator for the IPL 2022 season. He’s a member of the Hindi commentary team.
Apart from him, the Hindi commentary panel includes former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri. Surprisingly, another name appears in both the Hindi and English versions of the commentary.
Dhawal Kulkarni, a former Mumbai Indians fast bowler, is the man in question. Nobody expected him to be a part of the IPL commentary team for the current season.

Over the years, the 33-year-old has been an unsung hero in the Indian Premier League. In the IPL, he has appeared in 92 games and has 86 wickets to his name.
In his IPL career, Dhawal Kulkarni’s best bowling numbers were 4/14. But no one anticipated that he would skip straight to the commentary section this time.
Previously, the fast bowler had higher objectives. He stated that his goal for the Mumbai Indians in 2021 is to be the highest wicket-taker. The supporters reacted positively to his statement.
However, the pacer’s fortunes took a sharp turn when he went unsold in the IPL 2021 and 2022 auctions. He registered for this mega auction with a starting price of Rs 75 lakh, but he was not sold.
He has now decided to join the commentary panel after providing commentary for Mumbai Indians matches. Kulkarni also represented India in 12 One-Day Internationals and two Twenty-20 Internationals, picking 19 and 3 wickets respectively.
