Yuzvendra Chahal discussed a harrowing event that occurred during his time with the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the sixth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Chahal was relatively unknown before joining Royal Challengers Bangalore. He was involved in a terrible event during one of his sessions for the Mumbai franchise. Sharing of his memories from his days with the Mumbai Indians (MI), saying, Very few people are aware of my experience. This is a tale I have never shared and it goes all the way back to 2013 when I was with the Mumbai Indians. We had a gathering, and one of the players became somewhat drunk. Without mentioning his name, Chahal said, He was quite inebriated; he stared at me for an extended period of time before calling me outside and hanging me out on the balcony. He said, “His hands were locked around my neck and I lost my grasp… I was on the 15th floor. Suddenly, a large number of people who were present emerged and took charge of the situation. I passed out and they gave me water. Then I understood how responsible we must be whenever we go anywhere. Thus, this was the occasion in which I thought I narrowly escaped.
