Krunal Pandya takes a brilliant catch

Avesh Khan’s great death bowling enabled Lucknow Super Giants to defeat Punjab Kings by 20 runs. Mohsin Khan finished with three wickets, while Dushmantha Chameera and Krunal Pandya each had two.
In pursuit of 154, PBKS openers Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal batted steadily. Agarwal smashed two fours and two sixes before being caught at mid-off.
After holding Lucknow to 153/8, it should have been a simple chase, but Punjab blew it, finishing at 133 for eight in 20 overs. LSG’s spirited bowling performance was led by pacer Dushmantha Chameera (2/17) and Pandya (2/11), but they were also aided by the recklessness of the Punjab batsmen, especially skipper Mayank Agarwal (25), Liam Livingstone (18), and Jonny Bairstow (32).
Jonny Bairstow was batting admirably against the Lucknow Super Giants. However, he was dismissed as a consequence of Krunal Pandya’s excellent catching.
Mohsin Khan, the left-arm bowler, also finished with three wickets. Rishi Dhawan (21*) tried his hardest to make Punjab bounce back in the game, but it proved too difficult.

Krunal Pandya was overjoyed that his hard effort in the nets had resulted in strong bowling. He was also quite good on the field.
“I have been bowling well. For the last 7-8 months, I have been working hard. Special mention to Rahul Sanghvi. The results everyone can see as I have tried to improve my skills. A lot of times, when you are playing shorter formats, you don’t realize a lot of things. I have been trying to increase my height with my release and some things on my grip. I took Rahul Sanghvi’s help and it has worked”, Pandya said
Krunal, on the other hand, had a far from an impressive outing with the bat, and the LSG all-rounder voiced hope that he will be able to contribute with the bat very soon.
