Hasan Ali has often been under fire from Pakistani fans for his mediocre bowling performance and for always falling short of the expectations of the supporters; nevertheless, it seems that the fans of Pakistan have finally had a good time. During the ongoing County Championship 2022 between Lancashire and Gloucestershire, Pakistani fast bowler Hassan Ali has been in fantastic form with the ball. He recently delivered a pacey and tearing yorker that plainly uprooted the middle stump and even broke it, sending Gloucestershire James Brassey back to the pavilion for a below-par score of 14.
Hasan Ali threw the ball with such pinpoint precision that Brassey had no idea how to cope with it, and the Gloucestershire player found himself in all kinds of problems as a result of the delivery. Lancashire CCC’s official Twitter account tweeted footage of the pacer’s stunning delivery, which can be seen below.
The Gloucestershire batting first was all out for a total of 252, in reply the Lancashire team scored 556-7 and then declared. For the Lancashire, it was Josh Bohannon who scored a gritty 231 off 467 and Dane Vilas who scored 109 off 147. Other significant though small contributions were made by Wells and Lamb. In reply, Gloucestershire is struggling in the second innings and has made 208 till now for the loss of eight wickets. For the Gloucestershire Marcus Harris, Dent and Higgins scored Half-centuries in the first innings while M Hammond and Tom Lace made half-centuries in the second innings. It should be an easy win for the Lancashire cricket team from here considering the opposition will struggle to cross the lead acquired by Lancashire.
