Before Saturday’s vital Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium in Pune, former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli was observed working hard in the nets. The former skipper of the Indian cricket team and RCB had a good start in the IPL scoring 41 in the first match before getting out cheaply in the next two matches.
He would want to get back in form and score runs for his side. On the day of the doubleheader, the RCB will play a night game against the Royals. With two victories in their first three games, Royal Challengers Bangalore will climb into the top half of this edition’s points table if they win today. MI, on the other hand, is yet to win a game this season, having lost all three of its games thus far. Both teams have played 31 times in the IPL thus far, and MI has enjoyed a considerable deal of success against RCB, having won 19 of their previous encounters. In addition, RCB holds the edge in the last five meetings, having won three of the five meetings in that time period. Getting back on track with Virat Kohli, the Indian captain misjudged a wrong’un from a bowler in the nets and was clean bowled while attempting to play a cut.

Earlier in the day, Virat Kohli was seen giving batting instruction to Royal Challengers Bangalore rookie batsman Anuj Rawat during a practice session for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He shared a snapshot of himself with Kohli on his Instagram account. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have done well thus far in the IPL 2022, winning two of their first three games.
