During the first Test match against England at Lord’s Cricket Stadium, New Zealand cricketer Trent Boult reminded fans of Steve Smith with his defensive batting technique. Against Matthew Potts, Boult imitated Smith’s one-legged opened-up defense.

The return of Test cricket for the first time since the end of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2022 has produced an exciting match between England and New Zealand, with bowlers dominating the proceedings. On the incredible track at Lords Cricket Ground, both sets of fast bowlers have had a dream run with the ball.
While both sets of batters were disappointed, cricket fans were won over by New Zealand pacer Trent Boult‘s batting performance. During his brief innings, Boult, who played despite being involved in the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) final between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) just a few days ago, hilariously mimicked Steve Smith’s famous ‘no run’ call. In fact, the New Zealand pacer’s batting technique was eerily similar to that of Australia’s batting legend.

The video of Boult’s amazing impersonation of Smith’s famous antics went viral on social media, eliciting some hilarious responses from cricket fans all over the world.
