Tilak Varma of the Mumbai Indians (MI) batted brilliantly in the run chase against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Saturday, almost ensuring his spot in the side.
On Saturday, the Mumbai Indians faced the Rajasthan Royals in the ninth match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). While the Royals had begun their competition with a victory, the five-time winners were in desperate need of two points. Their bowlers, on the other hand, gave up 193 runs in 20 overs, with Jos Buttler blasting them left, right, and center.
The Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, did well in the chase, taking the RR bowlers head-on with their power hitting. Despite the fact that Rohit Sharma and Anmolpreet Singh were out early, Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma put MI back in the game with a magnificent third-wicket stand. Before the former was dismissed, they added 71 runs in nine overs together. Tilak, on the other hand, continued to play his shots and wowed many with his hitting.
Tilak Varma Six hits Cameraman

Varma hit a fantastic shot for a six during the 12th over, almost taking out the cameraman in the process. When Riyan Parag was bowling, it happened on the sixth ball of the over. Tilak Varma lofted the ball over the long-off fielder with ease after the spinner placed it in his arc.

The cameraman, on the other hand, was standing just where the ball was due to drop when it hit him on the shoulder. Thankfully, the ball did not strike him in the head, and no injuries resulted. Rather, he was quickly returning to work in preparation for the next delivery.

Jos Buttler scored his second century of the IPL 2022 season earlier in the day. He went head-to-head with the bowlers, scoring more than half of his team’s runs. He had faced 60 balls by the fifteen-over mark and was just four runs shy of his century.
