If you would have to name one player who had to change his cricketing track after mediocre performances in many sessions, it has to be Harshal Patel. After making his debut during the 2012 Indian Premier League season, Harshal Patel has appeared in 41 matches over the course of seven seasons. Harshal has never quite made enough of an impression to be considered a regular fixture in an IPL match, but in a few last seasons, he has done enough to earn a spot in the team for the upcoming edition of the tournament.
Harshal finally found his position in RCB becoming their lead death bowler and taking wickets and containing runs in the death. Harshal can also come and bat down the order, making him a healthy addition in the shortest form of the game. Following his good performance in the Indian Premier League, the right arm medium fast bowler was given the Indian cap and is most probably going to be a part of the Indian T-20 squad. Recently the star player was invited to Gaurav Kapoor’s show Breakfast with champion where he revealed how his father advises investing in PPF because that would save him tax. Harshal laughed about this idea because he got sold for 10.75 crore, which is a huge amount.
Harshal said, “My dad grew up in that era ki bachao, abhi 10.75 cr ke baad bhi the advice he will give me is ki paisa EPF me daal, FD kar all those things”. “Every dad” said Gaurav, Harshal even said that PPF gives less return when compared to other sources of investing but his father replied that PPF pe tax nhi bharna padega.
Harshal Patel is having a good run with RCB this season however he recently lost his sister and then missed a match, and after coming back he got in an altercation with Riyan Parag in a match where Parag scored 50.
