In each category, the Indian Premier League has several prominent stars, like Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, MS Dhoni, Rishabh Pant, Glenn Maxwell, Odeon Smith, Nicholas Pooran, and Shimron Hetmyer, and more.
Suresh Raina, the former Indian batsman, went unsold in the IPL 2022 mega auction, which was held recently. He is, however, still a member of the league as a presenter.
Suresh Raina will take on a new position in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this season, as he will be a commentator. Despite a number of overseas players opting out of the tournament, Raina went unsold at the IPL 2022 big auction, and no team expressed interest in signing Mr. IPL.
Suresh Raina was not selected by any team in the IPL for the first time since its beginning. He was a familiar face in the IPL’s last 14 years, having played for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for over a decade and then leading Gujarat Lions for two seasons while CSK was banned by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Raina missed the 2020 IPL season due to personal circumstances, but returned the following year and was a member of the CSK team that won the IPL title for the fourth time.
Suresh Raina Predicts The Player Who Will Hit Most Sixes

During the Hindi coverage of the IPL, Raina made a prediction on the batsman who will hit the most sixes this season.
In the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League, the 35-year-old has forecast that Caribbean batsman Andre Russell will be the No. 1 six-hitter. The right-handed batter is back in action for the Kolkata franchise.
Russell has been a member of the Kolkata Knight Riders for a number of years and was recently re-signed by the organization for INR 12 CR for the IPL 2022 season. Many of the team’s matches have been won only by the Caribbean batter.

Yesterday, the 33-year-old hit the winning run against Punjab Kings (April 1). Russell scored 71 runs off just 30 balls. In just 30 deliveries, he managed to knock a whopping six sixes. Russell did undoubtedly make his presence known with the innings.
