On Thursday, Hardik Pandya was all over the Rajasthan Royals. With the bat, with the ball, and in the field, the Gujarat Titans’ captain single-handedly suffocated the Royals in every aspect, resulting in a 37-run victory for his team, which put them atop the IPL 2022 points table.
Hardik produced some stunning strokes while batting at number four and then made a crucial impact in the field early in the RR chase that sent their captain Sanju Samson back.
Gujarat Titans upset Rajasthan Royals to get to the top of the points table, with Hardik Pandya scoring an unbeaten 87 and Lockie Ferguson and Yash Dayal each taking three wickets. Rajasthan Royals lost regular wickets with their risk-taking style against Gujarat Titans in a 193 chase at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, despite Jos Buttler’s quickfire half-century.
Hardik Pandya breaks stump

With his run-out against Sanju Samson, Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya was at his best against Rajasthan Royals, breaking the middle stump. Hardik produced a critical 87* off 52 balls to help his team set a lofty mark, and he was equally impressive in the field, inflicting a magnificent run out to end Samson’s innings.

Hardik not only scored 87 runs for his team, but he also inflicted a spectacular run out, grabbed a wicket, and took a catch.
Pandya’s all-around abilities were on display as he helped the Gujarat Titans suffocate the Royals slowly and gradually in every way conceivable.
One of the most memorable moments of the game came when Hardik Pandya inflicted a run out on Sanju Samson, and the ball struck the middle stump with such precision that it appeared as if the stump had broken in two.
