The IPL 2022 season kicked off on Saturday, with Chennai Super Kings hosting Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium. Robin Uthappa hit IPL 2022’s first six against Umesh Yadav, flicking a delivery that strayed on his pads and cleared the ropes into square-leg.
On the second ball of the third over, Umesh Yadav, the right-arm bowler, bowled a straighter delivery to Robin Uthappa. Uthappa produced a brilliant flick shot to mid-wicket that went for a stunning maximum.

Uthappa struck the opening six of the IPL 2022 against Umesh Yadav. In the third over of the innings, Umesh bowled a poor leg-side delivery to Uthappa. The right-handed batsman made no mistake in seizing the opportunity, clearing the fence on his approach to square-leg.
Robin Uthappa bowled with the goal of hitting the ball precisely rather than forcefully. The shot appeared to be quite excellent as it fell on the first stand. Fans loved seeing Uthappa hit the maximum.
The opener scored 28 runs off 21 balls in a short amount of time, hitting two fours and two sixes. Uthappa gave the team a bright start before being stumped by Sheldon Jackson after losing the early wicket of Ruturaj Gaikwad.
