The Delhi Capitals are currently playing the Lucknow Super Giants in the 15th match of the Indian Premier League 2022 in Maharashtra’s D.Y Patil Stadium. The Lucknow Super Giants won the toss and elected to bat first, despite their previous success batting second in the league.
Delhi’s batting lineup struggled throughout the match, scoring only 149 runs in the first innings despite losing only three wickets, demonstrating how difficult it is to score on the D.Y Patil Stadium pitch.
Today was David Warner’s debut match in the IPL 2022, and he failed to impress with his 4 of 12 balls. Prithvi Shaw, the opener, was outstanding and by far the best DC batsman in the match. He had a fantastic score of 61 off 34 balls and made a significant contribution to DC’s total.
Rishabh Pant hits a mini-helicopter shot

KL Rahul, the captain of the LSG, won the toss and elected to bat, with Krishnappa Gowtham replacing Manish Pandey in the lineup. There were three changes for the Delhi Capitals, as David Warner, Andrich Nortje, and Sarfaraz Khan were all given debut matches for the 2022 season.
The Delhi Capitals’ innings hit a snag when they lost Prithvi, Warner, and Rovman Powell in rapid succession, but they were able to post a score of 149/3 in 20 overs thanks to solid performances from skipper Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Ahmed.
Pant struggled to score quick runs today which was very surprising. However, it may be presumed that Pant had a rough day at work, and the Delhi batter’s devastating prowess could be on display in the very next game.

Rishabh Pant did not hit many big shots today, and he only hit two sixes, but he did play one shot which won the hearts of many fans. He hit a fantastic scoop shot that resembled MS Dhoni’s helicopter shot, but supporters referred to it as the mini helicopter.
