Jos Buttler, the Rajasthan Royals’ star opener and England wicketkeeper, is extremely impressed with RR teammate Prasidh Krishna, claiming that the young pacer possesses all of the qualities necessary to become a successful fast bowler and that he sees Krishna representing India in all three formats.
Krishna has been a standout since making his India ODI debut in March 2021. Krishna was fantastic with the new ball, tormenting the West Indies with his erratic pace and bounce while also performing admirably for his previous IPL side, Kolkata Knight Riders.
Prasidh Krishna was acquired for Rs 10 crore by Rajasthan Royals ahead of the IPL 2022 season, and he has been outstanding with the new ball for the Sanju Samson-led team in the opening two games.

Prasidh’s 6’2″ size and strong shoulders make it easier for him to give batsmen a hard time, especially with the new ball, as the Sunrisers Hyderabad top-order discovered when Krishna nicked Kane Williamson and Rahul Tripathi with short, curved deliveries.
Since he was a kid, his innate talent to make the ball bounce at a good speed had always made him stand out. The right-arm seamer had bowled a few rapid bouncers to Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers at the RCB nets in his maiden tryst with the big boys.

“He has some pace in the nets and skills, he’s got all the attributes to be a very successful fast bowler for India in all formats of the game. I see him playing red-ball cricket for India as well,” Buttler said.
Buttler also held Samson in the highest regard as a captain.
“Not many changes (since Sanju became captain). That is one of the greatest attributes any leader has to have — being yourself, being authentic. Sanju definitely has that. His game has matured, cricket has matured, and he’s older and wiser than when we first started. We enjoy playing under his leadership. He makes a great environment. He’s a fun guy who has respect from the entire group,” he said.
