In both innings of the opener between the reigning champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), there were some remarkable performances. While CSK’s new skipper Ravindra Jadeja and his predecessor MS Dhoni rescued them after they were reduced to 61/5, Dwayne Bravo made his presence felt with the ball in his hands.
In the death overs, Dwayne Bravo did not get a chance to apply the final touches to Chennai’s innings with the bat, but he did chip in with the ball in hand and dismissed the dangerous Venkatesh Iyer. After getting rid of the batter, the Caribbean megastar celebrated in an entertaining way. It should be mentioned that this is a one-of-a-kind, yet distinct, celebration.
Unique Celebration of Dwayne Bravo

Dwayne Bravo is known for his swagger on the field and for his one-of-a-kind wicket-taking celebrations, and IPL 2022 was no exception. After dismissing KKR’s Venkatesh Iyer in the IPL 2022 season opening at the Wankhede Stadium, the West Indian veteran came up with a dance routine.

Bravo was sent on to bowl in the seventh over and gave CSK the breakthrough with his first delivery. Iyer attempted a long drive but was only able to get an edge behind the stumps, which was collected by MS Dhoni. Bravo then began dancing with an outstretched right hand, twisting the index finger, a reference to his most recent song, Number One, which was released just a few days before.

Later that night, Bravo surpassed Lasith Malinga’s record of 170 wickets in the IPL. In his four overs, the allrounder took 3/20. CSK, on the other hand, we’re unable to defend their low score of 131/4, with KKR winning by six wickets under new skipper Shreyas Iyer.
The Bravo celebration was well received by social media users, who were vocal about the incident. A Twitter user said, “Bravo never fails to entertain.”
