Former MI star Mitchell McClenaghan has spoken about how Mumbai Indians’ overseas bowling attack should look like.
The Mumbai Indians’ (MI) chances of qualifying for the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) season in the playoffs are slim after the five-time champions suffered their fourth straight loss this season.
While Mumbai Indians fans are still hopeful for a turnaround after winning the IPL in 2015 from a similar position, former MI star Mitchell McClenaghan has shared his thoughts on the Mumbai Indians bowling attack.

Mumbai Indians (MI), the five-time champions, are looking for a way back into the season after failing to register a win for the IPL 2022. MI have lost four of their first four games, and they will face a difficult assignment when they meet Punjab Kings today in Pune.
Suryakumar Yadav is now the only consistent performer on the team. He has scored half-centuries in each of his matches thus far, although they have both ended in defeat. Ishan Kishan had a good start in the first two games, but he hasn’t been able to maintain his form in the last two.
In the match against Punjab Kings, skipper Rohit Sharma will be aiming for the first two points on the points table.

Despite the fact that they lost their previous game, Punjab Kings will be optimistic going into this one because they dominated for the bulk of it. Mayank Agarwal, their captain, would be looking to make amends against Mumbai by handing them yet another defeat.
Former Mumbai Indians player Mitchell McClenaghan has tweeted about how Mumbai Indians can bounce back by making some changes in their bowling attack.
Hope Iām proven wrong but all @mipaltan success has come from playing 2 overseas bowlers. One bounce one swing/Yorkers – desperate for this win š

According to McClenaghan, Mumbai should play two overseas bowlers ā one bounce and the other swing/yorker specialist.
