The Mumbai Indians (MI) have had a difficult start to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season, having lost all four of their matches so far in the competition. The most expensive buy, Ishan has performed in patches for MI, while Rohit has failed to convert his starts into big innings. The only good news for Mumbai currently is the good form of Suryakumar Yadav, who has been brilliant in the middle order. The absence of an experienced gun-speed bowler is very much hurting MI. However, MI deputy captain, Jasprit Bumrah, believes that his team is in the midst of a transition period, which is why their form has likely dipped recently. On Tuesday, the renowned South African bowler Dale Steyn, who is now retired, said that Bumrah is a better bowler than him. The speed gun, known as a terrifying batsman with his extreme pace and swing, last played in the IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore in September 2020.
Im sure he is, I’m retired.

MI had a nightmare start to the season thus far, despite the fact that they are notorious for their sluggish beginnings. Aside from their batters’ failure to score runs, their bowlers’ below-par performance has made things difficult for them. So far in the competition, the Mumbai bowlers, even Jasprit Bumrah, have been unable to deliver on their promise of producing results. The current attack, which includes leg-spinner Murugan Ashwin, Basil Thampi, and Jaydev Unadkat, will have to provide assistance for Bumrah, who will be eager to replicate his previous success. The trio’s 12 overs will be critical in determining whether or not MI’s fortunes alter.
Bumrah is better than you.

Returning to Dale Steyn, he shared a photo of himself clutching a fish on his Twitter account, which was taken during one of his fishing expeditions. “Bumrah is better than you,” said one Twitter user in response to the post. Dale Steyn responded to the criticism with the following statement: “I’m sure he is, I’m retired.”
