Players, umpires, and broadcasters rarely disagree at the end of innings, but this happened during an IPL match. After playing the last ball of the innings, PBKS began walking off the field, but the broadcasters were unsure, causing a lot of uncertainty.
The toss was won by Ravindra Jadeja, who chose to bowl. Chris Jordan replaces Tushar Despande in CSK’s lineup. Punjab Kings have two newcomers, wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma replacing Raj Bawa and pacer Vaibhav Arora replacing Harpreet Brar. Jonny Bairstow is not in the lineup.
Punjab Kings made a strong start to their encounter against Chennai Super Kings after winning their opening game of the IPL 2022. In the first innings, they scored a total of 180/8, with Liam Livingstone getting 60 runs off 32 balls. His innings were outstanding, but the misunderstanding around the end of the innings was a talking point throughout the game.
Confusion in CSK vs PBKS match

Vaibhav Arora was facing Dwayne Bravo’s final delivery of the innings. He bowled a slower, shorter ball, which Arora played just short of extra cover. The Punjab batsmen assumed they had played the final ball of the innings and began walking back to the pavilion as the rest of the squad began warming up.
The broadcasters, on the other hand, said that one ball remained in the innings. The PBKS crew began walking away from the scene because they were so perplexed. But common sense won out, and the innings were called off.
