The unusual throw of Rajasthan Royals (RR) pacer Prasidh Krishna drew a lot of attention on social media. It’s worth noting that Krishna’s throw landed on the boot of Kiwi pacer Trent Boult. As a result, the New Zealand pacer lost his balance and fell to the ground.
Prasidh Krishna hilariously hits Trent Boult with a throw

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) met at the Wankhede Stadium for the second time in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season on Monday. In the first innings of IPL 2022 match no. 47, RR scored 152 runs for the loss of five wickets.
While the KKR began their pursuit, the spectators were treated to a humorous sequence of events when Prasidh Krishna made Trent Boult his target with a direct hit.
Prasidh Krishna grabbed the ball as KKR openers Baba Indrajith and Aaron Finch attempted for a single in the opening delivery of the third over, and despite aiming for the stumps, he ended up hitting Boult. The New Zealand pacer launched himself into the air with a powerful leap and was smacked on the shoe, but he recovered safely.

Thankfully, no one was wounded, and the whole scenario turned amusing, with the commentators joining in on the laughter. The event’s video went viral on social media and drew a lot of attention from IPL fans.
Yuzvendra Chahal, the RR leg-spinner who was fielding nearby, had the greatest view of the incident, as the Kiwi pacer smiled as he fell to the ground. It was a hilarious incident that had everyone in stitches throughout the game.
Talking about the match, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets. Sanju Samson slammed seven fours and a six in his 49-ball 54, while Shimron Hetmyer hit an unbeaten 13-ball 27 to help RR reach 152 for five.
Jos Buttler (22), Riyan Parag (19), and Karun Nair (13) all earned starts but failed to make an impact. Tim Southee (2/46) took two wickets, with Umesh Yadav (1/24), Anukul Roy (1/28), and Shivam Mavi (1/33) each taking one. Nitish Rana (48 not out), Rinku Singh (42 not out), and Shreyas Iyer (34) then chipped in with important contributions as KKR cruised to victory, posting 158 for three in 19.1 overs.
