“Bloody Good Catch” Kuldeep Yadav’s Spectacular All-round Performance in Fielding

The IPL is known to give a second lease of life to players who are going through a dull phase in their careers. It has rekindled and rejuvenated numerous careers who have gone on to regain their place in the Indian squad and made it big.

One such player who is making the most of his IPL opportunity is Kuldeep Yadav. He has not found favour in the Indian squad lately but has been impressing in the second chance that he has got in this year’s IPL. In the match against KKR, where he had many issues, he was spectacular with the ball as well.

Kuldeep lights up the show

Kuldeep was instrumental in the win for Delhi. He picked a spectacular 4 wickets in his 4 overs and involved wickets of big-hitters and dangerous guys like Pat Cummins, Narine and Shreyas Iyer. Pat Cummins played a smashing knock in the last match and won the game for his team.

However, what enthralled the fans was his fielding. It was in the 16th over when on the last ball off the over, Umesh Yadav was on strike. He tried to get down on his knee and swing the ball out of the ground. However, he mistimed it and the ball went high up in the air and went towards mid-wicket. Kuldeep after bowling the ball, ran a substantial distance and put in a full dive and secured the catch. The effort was simply stunning.

Kuldeep Yadav was extremely aware of the situation and was supremely fast. He had his eyes on the ball and brilliantly steadied himself before the dive. He was also smart to not have the ball bump out of his hand when his hands hit the ground.

Twitter went mad to see the effort put in by Kuldeep. The appreciation and acknowledgement from the fans were unending. Cricket commentators like John also appreciated the catch on Twitter.
