Rajasthan Royal (RR) lost a wicket against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 due to a communication gap between Ravichandran Ashwin and James Neesham.
The Rajasthan Royals are playing the Lucknow Super Giants in a must-win game at the Brabourne Stadium in order to qualify for the playoffs.
Although the Rajasthan Royals are in third place on the points table, the other clubs are not far behind. RR has 14 points after 12 games, and a win today would put them in a good position to finish in the top four.

The Rajasthan Royals and the Lucknow Super Giants are playing against each other in IPL 2022 match number 63. Both clubs are vying for a playoff berth, and the game will have moments that could determine the outcome of the game. Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and chose to bat first against LSG after winning the toss.
Rajasthan Royals Jos Buttler was dismissed for just 10 runs by Avesh Khan, which shook the Rajasthan side. Yashasvi Jaiswal, on the other hand, rose to the occasion and took on the LSG bowlers, smashing them to all areas of the ground throughout his 41-ball knock.
Sanju Samson and Devdutt Padikkal also contributed crucial runs to keep the Royals’ run rate up. But it was the bizarre runout that occurred while Ravichandran Ashwin and Jimmy Neesham were batting together that captured everyone’s attention.
When Ashwin drove Ravi Bishnoi’s delivery towards the covers on the fourth ball of the 17th over, the incident occurred. As Ashwin continued to gaze at the ball, Jimmy Neesham, who was on the non-striker’s end began running. The throw came towards the non-striker’s end and Ashwin began walking, believing he had been run out.

The on-field umpire referred it to the third umpire, and replays revealed that Neesham had not crossed Ashwin, forcing Jimmy Neesham to return to the pavilion.
