The 39th game of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League between the Rajasthan Royals and the Royal Challengers Bangalore turned out to be a difficult affair. Rajasthan Royals won the game though both sides pushed each other to their physical and mental boundaries.
However, in the end, it was the Rajasthan Royals who emerged victorious in the battle of the teams. In spite of the fact that they had a subpar total on the board, they went on to offer everything they had on the field and ultimately won the game.
The Royals
and startled the Faf du Plessis-led team. In reality, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) had no problems with their bowlers at all, as they maintained their line and length throughout the game.
They held the Royals to 144/8 in 20 overs, which was a good total. The batting unit, on the other hand, was completely messed up by this grouping. RCB was not in a positive frame of mind to get the flow flowing in the run-chase and was unable to recover to win the game.
Meanwhile, an occurrence that occurred during the game caught the cricketing community completely by surprise. A heated discussion erupted between RCB pacer Harshal Patel and Royal Challengers Bangalore all-rounder Riyan Parag after the 20th over.
During the final over of the first innings, Harshal Patel bowled, and Parag scored as many as 18 runs in the over, which was the final over of the game. One of his maximums came off the last delivery, and he got a four and a number of maximums in the process.
Rajasthan Royals were given a ray of hope when all of their other batters failed to assert themselves with the bat. The teenage all-rounder was unbeaten on 56 from 31 deliveries to maintain his perfect record.
He adorned his innings with some very good shots. He was last spotted walking off the field after the final inning. Moments afterward, he became embroiled in an argument with Harshal Patel, who was then restrained by a member of the RR support crew.
In reality, there has been no discernible clarity in the discussion. Several exchanges of words took place amongst the players as they were walking away from the field. Even after the game had come to an end, the drama persisted.
When it came to the run-chase, Royal Challengers Bangalore messed up spectacularly. In the end, they were defeated in the game. Following the game, Harshal Patel was once again the center of attention because he refused to shake hands with Riyan Parag.
During the run chase, Faf du Plessis scored 23 runs and Wanindu Hasarangara scored 18 runs as the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) struggled to muster any collective effort from their colleagues. Finally, they were defeated by RR and were forced to flee.
Riyan Parag was awarded the man of the match award for his outstanding batting performance. “It’s a small sense of accomplishment. The Royals have placed their trust in me over the previous three years, and I am working hard to repay them bit by bit. “I thrive under pressure, and I’m simply demonstrating my ability,” he stated following the game.
