The Mumbai Indians have kept their key players ahead of the IPL auction in 2021. Prince Balwant Rai, Digvijay Deshmukh, Lasith Malinga, Nathan Coulter-Nile, James Pattinson, Sherfane Rutherford, and Mitcs which Mumbhell McCleneghan were among the seven players discharged by the Mumbai Indians.
Nathan Coulter-Nile was purchased for Rs. 5 crores by the Mumbai Indians at the IPL 2021 auction. Adam Milne, Piyush Chawla, James Neesham, Yudhvir Charak, Marco Jansen, and Arjun Tendulkar were among the other players purchased by the Mumbai Indians during the IPL 2021 auction.
Many hard-hitting batsmen are on the side, including the opener and skipper Rohit Sharma. Intriguing youngsters like Suryakumar Yadav and Ishaan Kishan will also play their part.
1.World Class Fast Bowlers
The Mumbai Indians have a lethal mix of pacers. Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult will head the team’s pace attack in the IPL 2021 2nd phase as well. Both bowls with a lefty-righty mix and are deadly pacers. Jasprit Bumrah was the second top wicket-taker in the IPL 2020 season, with 27 wickets in 15 matches. Trent Boult came in third place with 25 wickets in 15 games. In the 2nd phase of the IPL 2021, the duo will be extremely valuable to the club.
2.Amazing Finishers
Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya are two great finishers for the Mumbai Indians. They’re both power hitters with a high strike rate. When the team needs them, Hardik and Pollard always deliver. If the top order and middle-order batsmen falter, Hardik and Pollard come up huge to save the team.
3.Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma led his squad to five titles in eight years, an incredible feat for any captain. His field placements and ability to deal with pressure in high-pressure circumstances have been outstanding. He has a great command of his soldiers, and the Mumbai Indians have been behind him from the start. After taking over the reins from Australian great Ricky Ponting in 2013, Rohit’s maiden title triumph came in 2013, and his outstanding captaincy prompted rumors of Rohit replacing Kohli as India’s captain.
4.Talented All-Rounders
Hardik Pandya, his elder brother Krunal Pandya, and Windies batting star Kieron Pollard are among Mumbai Indians’ fiery all-rounders. It would be fascinating to watch if Rohit employs Hardik as a bowling option. Aside from Hardik and Krunal, Pollard has the potential to be a fantastic batsman and bowler. Glenn Maxwell, an all-rounder for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, had a terrible season last year, failing to score a single six with his bat but has started this year really well. Washington Sundar is another all-rounder possibility, although he appears to be lacking inexperience.
5.Great Batting Lineup
Quinton De Kock and Rohit Sharma start the batting for Mumbai Indians, who boast one of the strongest batting lines in the competition. Surya Kumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan are also very talented but this season Kishan has not started really well. Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, and Kieron Pollard, who are among the finest finishers in the game, make up Mumbai Indians’ middle order. They can demolish any bowling attack and are particularly devastating in the final overs.
