Virat Kohli is likely to exert significant effort to secure the trophy this season. Despite being a skilled batsman, he has never led his team, RCB, to an IPL trophy. Nevertheless, his record as an IPL captain is admirable, with a winning percentage of nearly fifty percent in matches he has captained. In the first five games of this season, he has achieved four wins as captain.
4. Rohit Sharma
Selecting the best IPL captain based on the number of IPL trophies won would make Rohit Sharma an obvious choice. After Sachin Tendulkar’s retirement, Rohit was selected to lead the Mumbai Indians, and he has guided the team to success by winning five trophies. In the first five games of this season, he has led his team to victory in four matches as captain.
5. Gautam Gambhir
It can be argued that Gautam Gambhir underwent a transformation as a player when he began leading the Kolkata Knight Riders. His tenure as KKR’s captain was instrumental in elevating the team’s standing in the IPL. With Gambhir at the helm, KKR won two IPL championships. As captain, he also secured four victories in the first five games.
