Fast bowling — regularly hitting 150 km/h is difficult for any bowler, and it is certainly the most demanding role in cricket. To master this technique, you’ll need a lot of practice, devotion, and patience. We’ve seen a number of pacers over the years, including Shoaib Akhtar, Brett Lee, and Mitchell Starc, who have been able to frighten any opponent with their lethal pace.
Although India is not recognized for developing the best fast bowling talent, we have seen a few bowlers throughout the years who have managed to burn the speedometer with their raw pace.
- Javagal Srinath – 157 kmph

Javagal Srinath, the former Indian cricketer, owns the record for bowling the quickest delivery ever by an Indian pacer. Srinath created history by bowling the fastest ball bowled by an Indian bowler during India’s 1996/97 tour of South Africa. One of the deliveries was bowled at 157 kmph by the Karnataka paceman. No other Indian bowler has ever been able to break the 157 kmph barrier.
- Jasprit Bumrah – 153.26 kmph

Jasprit Bumrah has established himself as India’s gun bowler in all three formats of the game in recent years. Bumrah, popularly known as Yorker King, is one of the few fast bowlers who can consistently bowl at speeds of 150 kmph or above. During the first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in 2018, Bumrah clocked 153.26 kmph on the speedometer. With 21 wickets, Bumrah concluded the series as the highest wicket-taker.
- Mohammed Shami – 153.2 kmph

During the third Test match against Australia in Melbourne in 2014, Mohammed Shami bowled the second fastest delivery by an Indian pacer at 153.2 kmph. Shami rose to prominence almost immediately as a result of his outstanding performance, and he also concluded the series as the series’ leading wicket-taker.
- Umran Malik – 153 kmph

Umran Malik, a pace phenom from Jammu and Kashmir, set a new record in the IPL 2021 by delivering the fastest delivery during a match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Malik clocked a 153 kmph delivery.
- Navdeep Saini – 152.85 kmph

Navdeep Saini has all the abilities to become a match-winner for the Men in Blue, with his ability to use his speed with accuracy even on flat fields and variations like slower balls, bouncers, and toe-crushing yorkers at his disposal. In IPL 2019, he bowled the fastest delivery of his career, clocking the ball at a devastating 152.85 kmph.
