Kuldeep Yadav has been one of the Indian team’s most disappointing players. He has fallen down the pecking order and appears to be a ghost of his former self, having been one of the constants in the Indian team. In two One-Day Internationals against England, he gave up 152 runs and went wicketless. In IPL 2021, he didn’t play a single game, despite KKR playing three games in Chennai’s MA Chidambaram stadium in spin-friendly conditions.
The 26-year-old was hoping to make a comeback in IPL Season 14, but he didn’t play a single game for KKR before the competition was stopped. According to Kuldeep’s own assessment, despite knowing that the Chepauk surface is a turner, the team management did not even choose him in the XI.
In an interview, Kuldeep admitted that there were moments when he felt that he wasn’t the bowler he once was and that he was content to stay on the bench. Kuldeep commented about how the first half of the IPL 2021 was particularly difficult for him because he didn’t get to play in any of KKR’s seven games.

Royal Challengers Bangalore
The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) enjoyed a great first half of the season, but their spinners were insignificant. Despite playing six games in Chennai and Ahmedabad, the two finest venues for spin bowling in the IPL 2021, their spin attack failed. Their spinners had poor performance in situations where spinners should have risen to the occasion.
If Kuldeep Yadav joins RCB, he will almost certainly be given opportunities. Under Captain Virat Kohli’s guidance, he can regain his form and confidence, and reclaim his place as one of the top spinners in the world. This year so far, Washington Sundar has been a shell of the bowler he was a few months ago, unable to reproduce his powerplay flair. The terrible form of Yuzvendra Chahal also continued. RCB will soon need a spinner and Kuldeep Yadav can fit in really well.

Rajasthan Royals
The Rajasthan Royals (RR) played their games in Mumbai and Delhi, the two venues in the IPL 2021 that were least suited to spin. Even when the external conditions were taken into consideration, RR spinners Rahul Tewatia and Shreyas Gopal were underwhelming. Shreyas Gopal only appeared in two games in IPL 2021, going wicketless with a 12.50 economy. He was unable to give the aggressive thrust that leg-spinners are expected to deliver in today’s game, and he was unable to take advantage of advantageous match-ups. Rahul Tewatia, last year’s star, also failed with the ball in the IPL 2021.
If Kuldeep Yadav joins RR, it can benefit both Kuldeep and Rajasthan Royals. Kuldeep will join a team where he is most likely to start and RR will get a player with loads of experience. RR is can be one of the best teams where Kuldeep can get his form back.

Chennai Super Kings
In IPL 2020, the Chennai Super Kings spinners were abysmal. Jadeja was unable to restrain batsmen as he has done in the past; Chawla was a shell of his former self; while Tahir only took one wicket in three matches. MS Dhoni and his spin squad, on the other hand, proved everyone wrong once again this year. In IPL 2021, Ravindra Jadeja and Moeen Ali combined to bowl 36 overs, finishing with 11/235. Even Imran Tahir shone in the one match he appeared in IPL 2021, dismissing RCB for 2/16. CSK’s spinners routinely had an impression with the ball, and in situations when the pacers were anticipated to have an effect, they regularly outshone them. Even though CSK’s spin department has been great, CSK can still be a fantastic option for Kuldeep Yadav.
This is because of MS Dhoni. Kuldeep Yadav has played really well under MS Dhoni previously for the national team. Dhoni certainly knows how to get the best out of Kuldeep. Kuldeep Yadav can certainly become one of the best IPL spinners once again under the leadership of MS Dhoni.
